Did you know that coffee gained popularity in America because of a protest? Americans protested in 1773 because the taxation on tea was oppressively high. Today, Anchor Bay Roasts also protests, not against taxation but against stale coffee. While opinions vary, we consider all coffee roasted more than 14 days ago to have gone stale - and so we refuse to sell it.
